EBI/IWGSC Annotation Workshop at PAG Asia 2019

EBI/IWGSC Workshop at PAG Asia 2019: Annotation of gene families in animal and plant genomes

The sequencing of a range of animal and plant genomes now provides a capacity integrate the outputs from the many genome sequences and functional gene studies/projects on-going globally. The workshop will identify studies utilizing model systems such as Arabidopsis and rice in plants to add value to understanding complex genomes such as found in wheat and provide updates on developments in animals in the annotation of new gene models. A summary and discussion session will draw together issues raised by participants.

Organizers: Rudi Appels and Jane Loveland
